Before I ever poured a coaster on my kitchen bench, I spent several years on a factory floor working in fiberglass manufacturing, surrounded by composite materials, resins, and hardeners every single day. That was about 7 years ago now, and it’s where I first learned what resins can really do — and just how important it is to respect them.
These days, I’m no longer working with resins for a living (It’s now a hobby), I’m in a much smaller workshop, combining resin and wood to create one-of-a-kind pieces. River boards, serving trays, coasters that look like art.
I started Resin Affairs because I remembered how confusing it was to switch from industrial composites to craft epoxy. I wanted to build the site I wish I had.
